“It’s my second time staying at this establishment, and I’ve been happy with both experiences. The hosts are friendly and easy to reach. The rooms and beds are as advertised. Bed was comfortable and clean. There are shared bathrooms and kitchen. The guest house is conveniently located in Koreatown and close to the freeway (if you drive; plus you can pay for gated parking for $5/night or street park for free) and close to bus stop. The place is certainly an economical option but I got my money’s……

“Dream location in my fave area of LA, close to supermarkets, trendy coffee shops and bars and cute restaurants. So peaceful and clean, with parking in the back! Perfect, I will stay there again!”

“Property was as described. We chose it as base to go to Rose Bowl in Pasadena. It is located in a safe neighborhood, parking included. Bed is very comfortable, very quiet room, with good amenities (microwave, small fridge, coffee machine, smart TV, furniture, etc). Room is great for a couple or single person. We actually met Juan during checkout and talked about the room and 1 potential improvement on it (like a door to the shower/toilet area). Overall communication was great. In summary,……

“Didn’t know what quite to expect and I was absolutely stunned at how quaint and easy to park this was. This is an older house in a neighborhood that has been transformed into a guest house, but fit our needs to a T. If you’re not looking for something fancy-schmancy, I highly recommend.”

“Excellent location for our visit to the LA area. The guest house was well maintained and had all the conveniences we needed. The two little dogs were very friendly after barking our arrival. They warmed up this very quickly. Cedric was a very congenial host and will respond quickly to any concerns. It’s a great place for a couple to stay, we enjoyed our 5 day stay.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed my 5-day stay at Sanborn Guest House. Gary and Jaime have thought of everything you need for your stay. They are wonderful hosts and really knowledgeable about the local area. I stayed in the Sanborn Room, which is very comfortable and decorated with eclectic items from Gary and Jaime's travels. It's good having the separate sitting area with a lounge, a couple of chairs, and a coffee table, as well as access to the shared kitchen. The off-street secure parking is a bonus……

Would book again. note about room 5. Crack under door. Cover with towel to keep adjusted temperature to comfortable level. AC does not turn off from buttons. Use the buttons on the plug to turn off. The AC was unplugged when we entered our room. Toilet is not stable. Overall a good find for a bargain price in the area on the……
