“This place is beautiful! The quality is impeccable. Amenities abound! Cooking utensils, grill, coffee pot, linens, wireless, all there. We enjoyed ourselves so much! The owners communicated clearly and provided excellent directions, instructions, and contact information. They also had light switches and fab switches labeled which was fantastic and so user friendly. The nest ac worked beautifully. The ONLY negative is they truly need to replace the oversized, for children only bunk beds……

“This was our second stay in the cabin, because it has all the conveniences and comfortable touches anyone could wish for in a mountain vacation home. From the well stocked kitchen, to the very comfy chairs in the living room, to the dining table with stunning views over the mountains, to the comfortable bed on the main level. (I can't speak to the other beds, because we didn't use them.) Communication with Michael was great, and the house was very clean. We enjoyed the wildlife that visited the……

“We went to do some hiking, the property was in a great location within an hour of all of the places we wanted to go ( Crabtree falls, Chimney Rock, Tom’s falls). Loved the Linville winery. The owners left plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, cleaning supplies, etc. The kitchen was well equipped. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the game room and views from the porch!”

“House was very nice, clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything from kitchen items, to towels, to bonfire supplies for our family of 5. Owners were proactive and responsive in the communication. View and access to the lake is great, with the shoreline mostly shaded in the afternoon and pretty quiet all the way around. We would definitely stay here again with the same group!”

We were worried because the hot tub is right on the road, but we didn't see anyone during our stay, so it turned out just fine! We need to contact the owner halfway through our stay, and they were very responsive and kind. Overall great stay!”

“The house sits up on a knoll overlooking Lake James. There are amazing views of the lake from most rooms in the house and the front porch/fire pit area. Also nice Mountain View’s in the back. House is really nice and has been updated / renovated recently. Our stay was short but really enjoyed staying here and would definitely look to come back in the future!”

“Had our cycling team camp here and the location and amenities could not be more perfect!! From having bathrooms in each room, bike racks, recovery boots- the whole team absolutely loved the location. I will say be prepared for the most difficult climb of the day being the driveway, but that aspect just made the trip that much more enjoyable”
