"We have stayed at Yosemite West at least 6 other times, booking through other listing agents. Never had any issues. We are always 100% satisfied and happy with everything.. Not so much this time through VRBO/Vacasa. #1. There is no phone in the unit. There are signs all over that tell you a number to call with issues, but that number is to an out of state place... not someone local to deal with anything.. AND - since there is no cell reception.. and no phone... the only way to deal with any...

"This place is in a perfect location in the park - approximately an hour drive from the entrance and a half hour drive to the valley. The unit was very clean and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. We were very surprised that there was no air conditioning (it wasn’t listed to have air conditioning, but we just assumed it would) and even in the cool evenings, we needed to leave the screen door open and have the fan at full speed to cool the loft. I can’t imagine being there in the summer...

"My boyfriend & I stayed here & really enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for Yosemite & hiking. I felt things were as pictured & described in the listing. Had basic amenities we needed to meal prep & an electric grill that was nice. The shower head is a little lower but possible to work with. The floors seemed like they could use a good scrubbing. "My friends and I weren't able to book two consecutive nights in Yosemite, so we booked a one night stay at this property for our last night on the trip. It was very comfortable, warm, and quiet after a long day of hiking in the rain and cold. It's about an hour drive from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Clean, straightforward check in and check out, and the hosts were communicative, although we didn't require any assistance during our stay."
