“Our family of six adults recently stayed here to attend our niece’s graduation from JMU. The house was very clean and suited our needs well. It was exactly as described in the description. It is fully equipped with everything you need in case you want to cook or is conveniently located to restaurants if you do not want to cook. We even had deer basically come look in the windows. We would certainly rent again.”

My only critique is both queen mattresses could use replacing, as the springs in the mattress could be felt (maybe even upgrading one of the rooms with a king). Thanks!”

The home was clean and well kept. It was the perfect size and we were once again very pleased with our stay in Massanutten. I would recommend.”

“The house was easy to enter, accommodating for our group of hiking ladies over 50, and was nice and clean. We needed all the separate rooms and bathrooms, and the laundry facilities were wonderful. Neighborhood is pretty- roads are windy, but not bad. Short drive to SNP.”

“We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this cute little cabin tucked away in the heart of the mountain. The property was VERY clean compared to previous homes on the mountain we’ve stayed in! You can tell the owners care about their property and did their best to accommodate modern technology with the charging ports by the beds,Xbox(the kids loved). We woke up to 2 deer right by the house grazing. It was a perfect weekend away!”

“The only way we could have family (12 of us) attend our son's graduation was to rent a large house. Acorn lodge met our requirements and made our visit memorable. Enough room for everyone to sleep in a comfortable bed and being able to cook meals for everyone made it cost effective. Property was "as advertised " and everyone in our family is still talking about it. Everyone said we need to book it again in 4 years when our incoming freshman will graduate. Thanks for everything!!
