“Very near the tracks ”

“We were looking for a hotel a specific distance for our bike ride. We just needed a comfortable clean room for the night. The quietly spoken, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable person at the desk made the stay that much better.”

“A one-night stay at GuestHouse Montesano turned out to be a nice experience! The entire staff is beyond accommodating, and go out of their way to ensure your stay - be it one night or longer will be a very good one. And that includes the lobby manager, the housekeeping staff, and the maintenance guy are very kind. Huge plus. The room was a large one, clean and fairly quiet, with the exception of a train tracks nearby, which means you will probably hear a train. This hotel's hot breakfast was……

“I need to begin by saying that every employee I met here was kind and helpful. Additionally, the location is convenient: right off the highway and within close proximity to town center. My low rating is based on the following:”

“Reasonable value but room is basic, dated old furniture, smells like smoke, carpet dirty, breakfast good, train runs right next door, lighting bad, bedding and bed clean, gas station lights annoying, good fridge and microwave.”

“PROS: Furniture was very comfortable. Check-in was super easy - just open door with pin pad. Unit was clean and up-to-date. Decor was tasteful.. Host provided large t.v. with many viewing platform options. Thank you! :) Gas fireplace provided lovely ambience. We felt welcome and respected. We would highly recommend this space to anyone, and we would absolutely stay again. CONS: We were momentarily confused about where to park and which door to use, as there was a car parked in front of "our"……

“It’s great place to stay”

“Comfortable and homey. Listing included a hot tub. There wasn’t one. The walk on the property was about 6 feet into a thick mass of trees. However, there was an inviting firepit available. Everything was very clean except for a few cobwebs above one bed. The host was wonderful! He was readily available for every question. It was a comfortable stay and we would love to revisit.”
