“This was a great stay, the camper and property were exactly as described. The roads surrounding the property are dirt, and can be pretty rutted in some places. I made it in my 2WD rental, but use caution! Wound up having a bonfire with the owner and other guests on property. Very memorable :)”

“This is the perfect location for a home base. We were an hour from Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, Arches, Canyonlands-Needles District, and Natural Bridges. There was even more within a 90 minute drive. Our problem is we didn't book a longer vacation. The view of the Abajo Mountains from the living room was awesome. There was a hawk nesting in one of the pines in the back yard. Our first afternoon at the house a group of 9 mule deer came into the yard, and after they left a second group of 11 wandered……

It is very comfortable, and the host Laura has obviously gone out of her way to make her home feel like yours—from her welcoming note & lemon cake, to all of the personal touches throughout the house, both inside & outside. The location was perfect for our explorations of Bears Ears National Monument—the hiking trails there are stunning in so many ways! Laura was very easy to communicate with, and we would highly recommend this……

“We had a very good time during our Blanding stay as we used the comfortable and welcoming Big Bear house as headquarters for our Cedar Mesa hiking and exploration. The home is remodeled and decorated in a welcoming and non-fussy manner; we felt at home. The kitchen in particular deserves a shout-out; it was complete with quality pans, dishes, and appliances.”

“Great place for a family reunion--clean, lots of beds, a great pond to play in, not many mosquitoes, not many people around, and terrific scenery! The only drawback was the generator kept coming on-perhaps more solar panels are needed? Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a great reunion!!”

“This place is fabulous! It was such a nice change of pace from chain hotels. We stayed in the Duke Room, which is basically a suite. We had two large rooms, including a king bed in the separate bedroom, and incredibly comfy futon sleeper in the main room. It also had dining table, microwave, mini-fridge. There was a nice, private bathroom off the main room. It was super quiet and the bedding was so comfy, we slept like logs. We also loved the decor. It was just such a unique experience. Highly……

“Super-cute, clean teardrop trailer parked in the perfect location! Stayed dry and cozy when it rained. Great outdoor kitchen and clean outhouse/shower. Fun solar lighting. Even wifi! Also great location to drive to Recapture Reservoir, Moab, Arches National Park, or even Colorado! Interesting property to explore too. Even though the owner was out of town, he made sure to stay in contact and was readily available for any questions. I hope to stay again! My little dog loved it too! Thanks, Joe! We……
