"Amazing, the best place I have stayed EVER. The cost of the stay is worth the value. The check-in was seamless, the staff was so friendly and amicable. The souvenir shop gifts were diverse and unique. The dinner, breakfast and drum show was top-notch. The onsens were huge and gorgeous. It's a lot of food so come to each meal hungry. All the staff we interacted with were kind and very helpful. "Hotel is very close to the ropeway and offers a shuttle bus to the main station which you really do need. Bedding arrangement is hard as a rock so be aware of that. The hotel itself is very dated and no especially clean. However I found that part of the old school charm. The included meals were absolutely outstanding traditional kaiseki style. Worth the price for that alone. "
