“This place was very clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. It was off the main path, but not too far from everything. Perfect place for a quiet little getaway.”

“We just love coming to this property. This time we came for a wedding at the old fire house next to the lake so talk about convenience. Came early to enjoy the outdoor, was able to get dressy for the wedding and go to and from only a short distance. Full amenities so we can bring our own food. The owners leave firewood to use and on day 2 the dog and rain rolled in so we used it all! With another night in front of us, and to our surprise, the owners refilled our wood discreetly and messaged us……

“We started off the week with nice weather and ended it with snow. We were thrilled. The house had all the amenities that we needed and plenty of room for the four of us. We visited Mt. Palomar and around Lake Cayumaca. Psycho kitty did show up and we fed her but we couldn’t pet her. It’s a great comfortable house with alot of decorative pieces around. I had to move some things so they were out of harm’s way. We cooked most of our meals there but needed to clean the oven to cook one of Mom’s……

“This was the first time I have stayed in Oak Hill Inn but it won't be my last. My room was charming and quiet, plenty big enough for two though it was just me this time. The last time I stayed in Julian it was at the Julian Hotel and I felt confined and claustrophobic (I had to leave the room to change my mind). No such issues at the Oak Hill Inn. A big plus is that it's just a five minute walk up the hill to reach the heart of Julian. It is a bit tricky getting into the room, as the entrance is……

“This is a beautiful property! My husband and I used it for the weekend of our daughter's wedding and we housed 4 other couples-- family and those who are our chosen family. It's spacious, yet cozy, and we all had a wonderful time. The only issue for some was that we couldn't get the internet to work, but it was a minor issue and felt good to be unplugged for a bit. The property owner is so easy to work with and you can tell she takes pride in her property. A word to the wise: the driveway is……

“The house was very comfortable for 6 adults. Lots of nice places to sit, whether to join the group or be off by yourself for a while. The house was also very functional, no problem getting the fireplace, heat, or anything else we needed to work. We didn't really cook so can't say anything about stove, etc. The last night and morning it got pretty cold, windy, and rainy, but no problems being comfortable in the house. All in all a very pleasant place for a family from all over the country to get……

“This property is perfect for immersing in nature and getting away from it all—with benefits! It’s located away from the weekend crowds in Julian, but close to wineries, cideries, and hiking/biking/horsing trails. My husband and I enjoyed having morning coffee on the East-facing deck as we spotted deer, wild turkeys, and many large and small birds. “We loved staying at this home. Wonderful lake view, and well equipped home. Kitchen has plenty of what is needed and we had more than enough towels for five us. The downstairs game room was a lot of fun. The trip to Julian is short and having the trails walkable distance away was perfect! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!”

“We did a last minute booking for this cottage (day before) in Julian, CA. It is very clean, quaint, & cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast foods and snacks. There were movies to watch, a backyard grill, bathroom with any toiletries you may need, big comfortable bed. It was located just a short ride from main street Julian as well as San Ysabel. Close by to all hiking too. We enjoyed waking up to see the chickens, ducks and little pigs. Views outside……

“We both enjoyed the Treehouse inside and out. The views were magnificent. Weather was great. It was neat to see the fog come down and sweep past us during the storm the last night there! It’s so quiet and peaceful. Everyone in town was marvelous and the town restaurants were delicious too! Our favorite part…the 91 steps up and down! LOL You do get used to them and keeps your weight down! Oh and also the enormous pine cones! We don’t have them that size here in Delaware! We would definitely stay……
