“Stay was great”

“Stayed over the weekend, great place, great family to stay close too.”

“Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus! We had a great family trip, and the house size and location was a big part of our great……

“So nice to be close to family for a visit and each have our own rooms and the use of the garage was very nice since it snowed. They even mailed use an item we had forgotten!”

“We had a lovely stay. The house was so lovely and well equipped with such attention to detail. As we sat on the deck drinking our coffee, we saw osprey, blue heron, coots and turtles. The beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was an oil rig right next to the house. I have sensitive lungs and had some difficulty with the off gassing from the rig.”

“Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room.”

“We love staying here. We have a family reunion and this house is roomy to have family visit with us while we are in town. Front porch is a super place to sit in the morning and evening talking and taking pictures We will rent this house every time I would recommend it for small to large groups”

“We rented this property for the beach area pictured. It looked nothing like that picture. The beach was dirty with little sand and there was a pontoon docked in the middle the entire weekend. The property owner, from the beginning of the rental process, was also terrible with communication. The smell of sewage and the ridiculous amount of wasps made sitting out on the porch for more than 20 minutes impossible. The wasp also made their way into the house and you could hear the buzzing in the……
