“This location is ideal for commuting in and out of Nanaimo and comes with an amazing view. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom does have a shower. There are also separate thermostats upstairs and even in the bathroom which will help to keep you warm on cooler evenings. “Tannis and Hans are charming hosts who made our visit special and personal. Our room was sweetly decorated and, importantly, had a very comfortable queen bed. Hans prepared delicious breakfasts each of our two mornings, over which we had fun and interesting conversation. After breakfast check out the charming pond-side village created by Hans. As an extra convenience, the couple was kind enough to let us charge our EV in the carport. ”

“The location was excellent, within walking distance to Neck Point Park. However, I was unaware of the flight of 28 stairs that was required to navigate to get to the lower level suite. My sister and I are seniors - we both needed help to get our suitcases up and down. Ray, the owner, was a delight to deal with.”

“I really enjoyed the view and pool table. The place was perfect size for all of us. Location was perfect. I suugest a few improvements, having a outside patio set or table with chairs as the current set up was uncomfortable and cold to use. The layout of the kitchen. Its a very large kitchen and could move plates and cups closer into sink area. Bar stools or bigger kitchen table would be nice too. Move pool table a bit further away from the railing.
