“The property is absolutely gorgeous and located close to town. We enjoyed watching wildlife and people floating in the river. Our only complaint was the water in the house smelled like sulfur. The property manager came right away to change the filter and it helped but you can still smell it. As someone with a well myself I struggle with the same issues. Didn’t keep us from having a great stay. Just make sure you bring your own drinking water.”

“We enjoyed our visit to this house! Hot tub was great, fireplaces were cozy, had good views from the porches, and loved all the screened in areas! The yard is also great for bringing your fur baby. There is only a Keurig coffee maker so keep that in mind when packing coffee. Very well set up home and We will definitely consider visiting again!”

“Our party of 10 was very comfortable in this well-stocked 5 bedroom / 5.5 bath home. Very clean, great decor, with everything we needed for a nice stay. We created great memories around the fire pit and enjoyed our morning coffee gazing at the mountains from the bay window. We look forward to staying again.”

“This was a relaxing get away in an area that we had not experienced before. Loved the creek and fire pit and our visit to Wayah Bald. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Trimming of the hedges left and right of the drive might aid exiting the driveway less difficult and a mattress update in the second floor middle bedroom would be nice.”

“We had an incredible stay on Lake Fontana! The house is even better in person than you can imagine. ALL the amenities you could hope for. Renting the pontoon boat was a highlight of the trip. Gaylene makes everything so easy and straightforward. She was so helpful during our stay. Could not recommend this house enough!”

“This is a wonderful property especially if you have kids. The views are spectacular from every single room and space. We enjoyed the outside fireplace, the dock and all of the amenities. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed was provided. I would stay here again and again.”

“We couldn’t get enough of the Fantastic views! We do a guys trip each year, and while some of the guys missed being able to stay connected, others enjoyed the time away from everything. The internet is as bad as they claim, but it was nice to disconnect and spend quality time with friends. Great host! While he wasn’t nearby, he answered all of our questions very quickly! We will keep this place in mind for future trips.”

“Great space and stay. Bed was comfortable. Pet friendly. The hot tub was amazing. Shower head needs to be updated. Twenty minute drive to Bryson City downtown. ”
