"What a great place ! First the pick up at the port was a nice touch. Definitely put the extra mile. The room was nicely decorated. Had a kitchen microwave small fridge. The hot tub was a bonus specially all the walking hiking I’ve done. The location was unbeatable right by the Portara - the main strip and the port. Also soundproof slept like a baby. "

"The responsibility for this rating is mostly due to mismanagement by Orbitz. We booked this property months in advance. Upon our arrival the hotel did not know of our booking. I had to call Orbitz, international call charges, to resolve the matter. Since the hotel did not know of our booking they had to scramble to find rooms. We were put in the basement were there was a faint smell of sewage in the halls. This was a Greek vacation, booked months in advance and we were put in the basement!"

We booked a room with a balcony but when we arrived we were put in a basement room that was very dark like a dungeon with no balcony only a chair and a tall wall that you can’t look over. We also had to walk through another rooms private seating area which felt uncomfortable - there was no privacy. The room had no phone signal and no Wi-Fi. We asked for the room we paid for but were told there were none available for two or three days. The room was nicely decorated...

"The apartment was just what we needed – close to everything and only steps away from the port. It wasn’t clear when booking, that the second bed in the room was a mezzanine, but we managed to get used to the staircase. The bars nearby start making a lot of noise at around 11pm until about 2:30am, but we generally slept well. The apartment had a nice big windows so there was a lot of natural light. "Great place in small town of Glinado. Central and easy to get to all parts of the island by car. The apartment itself is good. Spectacular views and several lounge areas to choose from. Some upgrades to the bathroom and kitchen are definitely necessary and some small groceries would be beneficial eg check-in complementary water (since tap water is not potable). It’s located next to a nature reserve with some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, all within relatively easy walking distance. "We had booked a sister hotel, but the directions provided where incorrect. Locals guided us to the sister hotel, and staff where good enough to make some changes and accomodate us in the sister hotel as it was much closer to where we thought we had booked. It all worked out in the long run and the hotel was great."
