“Rustic, authentic Adirondack Lake House with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of outdoor equipment including a great dock to fish off of. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic lake house experience.”

“The place is nice, it reminds me of my grandmother's home. There are modern conveniences, but that’s the vibe. The stairs aren’t terrible, but a bit much. Apartment is on the third floor. There is a chair lift thing, but it only goes to the second floor. There are rails on both sides to hold on to from second to third floor; just on one side from first to second (chair lift). “My friend and I spent 4 nights in this beautiful historic place and loved it. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the place is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The place was well-stocked with everything we needed and even included nice surprises like plush bath robes. The location is ideal. We liked being across from the Beekman mercantile and a coffee shop, and a short drive from other towns including Cooperstown. We would love to visit again!”

“We were attending my nieces wedding. We thought it might be nice to invite some family to share the house with us. It was big enough. The area was quiet, very much in the country, but close enough to get to a town and the Glimmerglass park for the wedding. Everything was only a few minutes away. We all had a wonderful time.”

The house was eclectic yet strategically updated with a modern kitchen and baths with a brass fixtures theme throughout the house. “We had a wedding about 10 minutes from the property and it was perfect for us and our college kids to meet up. Spacious and a wonderful, quiet location for us to relax before the wedding. Plenty of space for us all to get ready and sleep comfortably. The back deck was great for us to have a few cocktails and enjoy to beautiful weather. It had rained a lot and even snowed so ground was super wet, so unfortunately I didn’t get to see much of the spacious property! The host acted as if the listing was taken off vrbo and they didn't know about the booking. I asked about a refund then and they seemed like it wouldn't be an issue. We ended up getting an ADA accessible room which is wonderful that they have them available, we did not need that though and I don’t prefer walk/roll in showers. It would be very good for anyone needing those accommodations. Front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. Clean room. Beds and pillows not the comfiest but not bad either. Not in a super convenient location to the main expressway but we did choose it with little other options around and it was……
