The host Russell couldn't have been more friendlier an helpful, from when I booked my the location back in August of 2023, all the way to up to my entire time, of being in the area this past week. He not only responded in a timely manner from beginning to end, he too was understanding to my late arrival on the……

“We were going to the supercross at Lincoln stadium. It was a lot farther away than we realized and the neighborhood was a little sketch However once we started settling in the neighbors were super nice. The owner was fairly easy to reach and the check in process was a breeze. There’s a great Italian restaurant within walking distance and the food was really good Not fancy but tasty”

“Place was very clean and very well appointed. Location for restaurants and boutiques was great. Host was easy to communicate with. Would def stay again.”

“Swallow's Rest West was just delightful, and the perfect base for our visit to Longwood Gardens. It was so creatively decorated, had all the amenities needed, and was clean and comfortable. Our host Henry was wonderful. Only thing I would have changed was having an operating window on the upper floor, to let in some fresh, cool air at night. But this was just a minor issue. I would still highly recommend this property.”

“This house is absolutely perfect and the owner was extremely accommodating and quick to reply to messages. Amenities are provided by the owner. The house is a block away from the water, the Wellwood and the market Street cafe. Great food at both locations. Located 4 miles from North East MD. We will definitely be back.”

“The place was as advertised and was perfect for our weekend. We were in town for a wedding nearby and the location out us about 10 minutes from the wedding venue and also to the hotels where others were staying. Only complaint is that it is close to railroad tracks and a road so bring a white noise machine to drown out the sounds at night.”

“We liked the place and the house. We have some suggestions: We liked to have more cups for tea and coffee and more knifes. We like reading and plying games and missed day light in the living room (couch and table) Perhaps a roofwindow (1 of 2) will help?”

“We had a great time in the apartment. Everything was in line with expectation. Only thing that could be improved is to provide a clear recommendation where to park to avoid parking tickets.”

“Convenient well furnished apartment with easy access to a variety of destinations in the city. Met our needs perfectly. Easy parking.”

“The property was clean, easy to access, and the host was easy to communicate with. The toilet didn’t work upon arrival, so we had maintenance in and out during our stay to fix it. There was also no fire pit in the backyard as is advertised in the photos in this listing.”

“Our stay in Bear was very nice. The apartment was well stocked and very clean. The location was in a very nice neighborhood and my wife enjoyed jogging in the morning. Plenty of access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies/convenience stores. Uber trips to UD were also convenient and it was a 15-20 ride to campus. We would stay here again.”

“We never received check in instructions even though I reached out to the owner the day before checking in and while I was on my way to the property. So we ended up having to buy a hotel room last minute which cost an arm and a leg. She ended up sending me the check in information at night around 9:30 after we already got a hotel room. And now I cant get a refund because the cancellation doesn't fall in the time window. I cant tell you how the room was because I was never able to even get in. ”

“The place overall is very simple and nice. The bed was a little uncomfortable And decided to not stay the extra night and come home and use my own bed. Overall, very clean very nice.”
