“The room was clean and tidy and the owners were friendly. However, there were a few issues that detracted from the overall stay. First, the room smelled like cats which could be because there were three cat carriers in the closet. Second, the electrical outlets seemed improperly installed and did not easily work with the various chargers we needed to charge. Third, the photo used to identify the site was taken in a part of the house that we as guests did not even have access to so it seemed……

“The house/property/location were perfect for our stay. We were in town for Acceptance Day at USMA and choose this house to allow our cadet son to just relax and enjoy some home cooking and quiet family time during his weekend break. The house really exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate and had all the amenities you needed. I wanted to do some cooking for my son and the kitchen was well equipped to do so. Beds were comfy. We were able to bring our dog to see our cadet and the fenced in……

“This was our second stay at this property and it is just delightful. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable sitting spaces and enough room to spread out. Convenient to our event and we hope to be back again!”

“The place was as described. The kitchen equipment was great - there were enough plates, silverware, mugs, glasses, etc. The cooking equipment was good, too. Suggestion: small bowls and plates. The dining room table only had little benches to sit on. We brought in the chairs from the front porch. There is no sofa. The living room and study (combined) had 2 easy chairs, a day bed, and these really odd "theater seating." The theater seating was really just put together, 2 level frames with……

“We had the best time! The layout of the house is perfect for a family! We played ping pong and pool. My son’s favorite part was the hot tub. Super close to so much hiking and Hudson Valley must sees.”

“Our group was renting this property for the 2nd time as we came back to participate in the nearby Mohonk Preserve's annual fundraising 50 mile race, Rock The Ridge. We found this house so comfortable and convenient for this event that we were happy to be able to rent it again. With a full kitchen, washing machine and 3 bathrooms, it is the perfect place for us to prepare and then rest after our effort. The house is beautiful and the grounds are striking. While we didn't have a lot of "down time"……

“The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river……
