“This is a great location for someone who does not need a lot of extras. The casa is as described, very simple, and is stocked with basic supplies. Drew has designed it to bring in as much light as possible during the day. He has taken advantage of the peekaboo ocean view in his window placement in the remodeled kitchen/bar area. The beds are EXTREMELY comfortable! There was a small issue with some areas that were not cleaned appropriately by his crew, but, the minute I mentioned it to him, he……

“Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids.”

“Everything about our stay in Getaway A was perfect! Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could wish for… and the super comfortable beds were heavenly. Located in the gorgeous flower streets of CdM with a small ocean view…it was extremely relaxing and a great home base for our other activities in the area. We hope to return soon!”

“Me and my family love this beach cottage! We had rented it back in 2018 and had a great time so we returned this year and will return again in the future. The cottage is right on the sand, 2 blocks down from the boardwalk, so you can easily walk or ride a bike to get to the pier or any of the many shops and restaurants. The only issues we had were: 1. “It rained the first night we were there and water was coming through the front windows. The wood and base boards were not sealed well and were already water logged. Mini water falls of rain got into our suitcases and work bags. The house is in need of some Upkeep and work especially the kitchen, bathrooms, and main bedroom where the water leak happened. “The house was as described. It was great! Plenty of towels, utensils and pots/pans. The provided soap/shampoo was helpful as well! There were many fans which were needed because a lot of the windows do not open. That would be our only complaint. Roughly half the windows don't open and the majority of the others need an additional piece of something to hold them open. One window in the casita was broken from the start. It was locked at only an inch open which greatly restricted air flow. On hot……
