“I’m a mom of three kids, and told my husband that all I wanted for Mother’s Day was a night to myself, full of self care and good sleep. This cozy cottage was more than I ever expected. I loved the antiques incorporated into the decor and farmhouse feel. The bed was so comfortable and the outdoor environment was charming and inviting. The hostess was communicative and kind.”

“Beautiful property and wonderful host. Close property was well maintained and provided beautiful areas for lounging and picnicking. Plenty of room beyond that for exploring and hiking. The host was gracious and spent some time talking to us, however was not invasive at all and afforded us plenty time to ourselves. Really enjoyed the animals and meeting the desert tortoise. 100% will stay again in the future.”

“This location is very tucked away deep into a hilly little neighborhood. The driveway is steep for nervous drivers but for us it was perfect. The house was clean and well-kept. The bathroom was large for the space. We attended a wedding very close to the location so it was convenient.”

“My husband and I traveled here from Arizona to visit our kids and grandkids and celebrate our newest grandchild’s first birthday. Our family loved all the games & activities in a beautiful, thoughtfully appointed cabin & setting, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our conversations around home cooked meals and in front of the huge river rock fireplace were topped off only by the gently falling snow, visible from the numerous tall windows. It was all quite breathtaking!”

“Very beautiful, well appointed home. Serene, lots of wildlife, comfortable beds and great view from the deck. Both front and rear decks are nice with comfy furnishings. Lots of lighting too! Big showers and bathrooms in general. Kitchen was great for preparing food!”

“We stayed here in December and fell in love so scheduled a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and enjoyed lounging on the patio. The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were.”

“This house was so beautiful! It was huge! It had so many amenities from the pool, BBQ grill, ping pong table, cornhole, pool table, basketball court, pickle ball etc. Absolutely loved the decor and how spacious the house was esp the kitchen. Great for large families. So many places to sit whether it be the large dining table in the atrium or in the kitchen. We even enjoyed the media room and watched movies together there. The kids loved to see the frogs in the pond. Everything was just perfect……

“Everything was as noted in the listing. We came up for a family getaway for the weekend. There was 10 of us total plenty of room for the kids to sleep and run around there was a rope swing out side that kept them busy and outside adventuring. The hot tub was definitely nice in the evenings after the kids went to bed along with the complementary adult beverages. The host were very prompt to responding back to us at any time. We will be coming back again for a longer stay in the future. Thank you……

“The cabin was perfect! The hosts really thought of everything right down to a kit in the bathroom with a nail file and q tips and as a woman with thick hair the blow dryer was perfect! The deck was beautful at night with the string lights and with only neighbors behind you it felt so secluded! Kitchen fully stocked, couches and bed so comfortable and the spare room set up for kids with a gaming system was awesome! All of this for a crazy good price! We definitely plan on coming back!!”

“This was probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. Peaceful, quiet and cozy. Loved being out in the lovely country setting yet only minutes into Placerville. The host was marvelous, we will be back!”

“Quail Meadows Ranch exceeded our expectations! The house and property were stunning. There was so much to do and see. We especially loved cooking in the kitchen and we all took note that it was equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the big fireplace during our rainy stay. We had a few questions during our stay and the owners were fast to respond. We definitely want to come back!”

“We had a very nice family vacation! Overall the house is well stocked and comfortable. The dogwoods blooming were beautiful! We did find some of the sheets in the laundry room and needed to wash them to have all the sheets we needed. (My email to the owner never received a response.) There are also several discrepancies between instructions posted at the house and what we were sent by email. The biggest surprise was the cleaners showing up at 10am when we were told 11am for checkout. Also,……

“If I had to complaint it would be, no Keurig coffee machine in my room. I think it’s wrong that it’s only in the Suites. Should be in all rooms. I understand why there’s no microwaves, but that still sucks as well. And the walk from the hotel room to the casino it’s a bit far but also a good exercise”

“I absolutely loved this hotel. It was pretty clean for an old building. It has that old historic feel to it and the hotel throughout look really cool. A lot of the stuff is pretty outdated but that is okay because I think it is supposed to look that way because of the history behind the hotel and it adds to the charm of the history. When I booked the room, I thought there was just going to be a microwave and mini fridge but there was actually a kitchenette, but I don't know if that is in all……
