“A lovely hotel right in the middle of the pretty market town of Helmsley so very convenient for shops, bars and restaurants and close to the castle. Breakfast excellent and having dined in ths restaurant in the evening also some good food choices, if not necessarily the cheapest. The room was of a very high standard, very comfortable and spacious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. ”

“What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities……

“The turf hotel was lovely, our room view was of the street which had a park over the road, the staff were friendly, hubby's only little grumble was the shower is a bit small and brekkie could of been a bit more, I enjoyed it and would recommend ”

“We loved staying here. The room was great and the bed luxuriously large. Staff was lovely and we wish we had been able to have had dinner but unfortunately checked in too late. Breakfast was really good. I appreciated the vegan choice on the menu. ”

“Lyndsey and Mark were brilliant for our stay, so friendly and gave tips on things to do in the area . We also had a dog with us and they were very accommodating. Lovely B and B, close to amenities but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Food is also lovely, we had breakfast and tea. ”
