“The hotel is located just 5 mins from the Norwich Airport. I will recommend this hotel for people who are taking early flights. The hotel room is large and comfortable. My son (10 year old) slept very well on the sofa bed. Last but not least, the breakfast is delicious. ”

“Lovely room with huge bed. Nice and clean and staff friendly. Food was average with the humus and babaganush completely tasteless. They’d also run out of a couple of key elements of the main menu which made the choices difficult. Other than that was ok”

“Lovely property. Very quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast choices. Comfortable, clean room with tea, coffee etc, fridge and microwave. Let down by the bathroom - a poor design - the floor flooded each time we used the shower, no matter how careful we were. ( Nothing the owners could do about this, but unfortunately we were woken at 5.30am each morning by the early risers with heavy feet in the room above ours. We’d ask for an upstairs room if we stayed again). ”

“Really impressed with this Hotel, only marginally more expensive than a travelodge but free parking until 10pm on Day of departure. Easy walking distance of the City Centre and next to both the Plantation Garden and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. Experience was more of a serviced apartment than a hotel with Fridge, Microwave, crockery and sink in a mini kitchen. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. As this is an independent hotel would strongly support to encourage local businesses.”

Complimentary upgrade to double deluxe (Bed was superking & super comfy) Room facilities and room cleanliness were great, staff were very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to visiting again.”

“Staying for the second time in Beaufort Lodge. Excellent hospitality. Tasty breakfasts. Convenient location. Rooms a bit small but ok for a short stay. Very clean. WiFi was not the best but the hosts tried to make it better during our stay. Overall, a good and comfortable stay.”

“Difficult to decide what would raise this from a 3 star to 4 star hotel apart from larger rooms, bathrooms, TV screen & extra furniture because everyhthing in the hotel was beyond what we expected. Good choice in menu (although fresh filter coffee rather than the machine Americano would have been preferable), well prepared & the portions generous. We expect to go back on another occasion. ”
