"It is set in beautiful grounds, part of the Nottingham University campus and we found it to be very quiet, almost serene. There is an outdoor sitting area overlooking a lake. "We arrived early as we had a 2 hour drive to get there and wasn't allowed to check in as it was too early. As we had a family celebration to attend it meant that we couldn't check in till around 9pm so had to leave bags etc in the car. The room was good and clean the staff all pleasant and friendly. One word of warning, and this is an expedia issue is that the pin location that they have set for this hotel is 1.8 miles off, meaning if you are there for an event you are 35-40 minutes walk away from where you thought you was. Very misleading. Not the hotels fault but there is nowhere else to put this. Hotel was spot on, thank you"
