“Location of this cottage is amazing! The pictures of the waterfall do not capture how beautiful this place is. We loved wading and hiking up and down the creek. This cottage is very close to quite a few great NY State parks. House just as described in the listing, everything in good working order. Good information provided for checking in/out. We had a great time here. Easily one of the best places we have stayed with the kids.”

Great spaces for both indoor and outdoor relaxing; gorgeous views of the water (we were there in April, so too cold to swim, but it would be fantastic in the summer!); exceptionally well appointed with cookware and dining ware. “It was a perfect get away for our entire extended family to stay during our daughter’s graduation from Syracuse University. There was a good mix of generations from young toddlers to my elderly parents and accommodations worked well. We especially enjoyed the sunroom overlooking the lake to hang out and relax. The distance to Syracuse University events was around 45 minutes which was reasonable and the only difficult part was needing to leave early in morning to graduation events to avoid……

“Impression of this property is that it requires serious cleaning; floors very dirty; old, expired foodstuffs in refrigerator and cupboords; dirty dishes/silverware in cupboards; no dishsoap provided; no dishwasher soap provided; counters and cupboards need intense scrubbing; all cupboards/drawers need to be organized; wary about electrical wiring; extension cords almost abusive in outlets; no portable heaters found, very cold; no intructions for use of television; no instructions for use of wall……

“The property is well equipped and comfortable. Its easy to get to and right on the lake. Beautiful picture windows overlook Oneida Lake, and make the living area so serene. It was very rainy while we were there, but that did not lessen our enjoyment of this cute lake house!”

“My Husband and I had a great stay. We were very close to Turning Stone for a concert we went too. It was private and quiet. Will consider reserving again in the future.”

“My husband, daughter and I were heading to Sylvan Beach for a surprise birthday party for his grandma and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect. We had a five month old, the place was super clean. It was shockingly warm so we were able to walk to the Pancake House for breakfast and the beach to look at the lake. The hosts was very nice and property manager. If we need to come back for a family visit we will stay there or talk everyone into renting the bigger property.”
