“The cabin is cozy and adorable. Close to the lake which is beautiful. The furniture, while old fashioned, was extremely comfortable. We spent a ton of time relaxing on the red couch! Had a few minor issues. The chain in the toilet kept coming loose, causing issues with flushing, and the water pressure in the sink and shower were near nothing. It was also extremely cold in the bedroom, despite us adjusting the heat, and the portable heater in the bedroom did not work. Overall, we seriously……

“This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed ourselves. This was a weekend away with my kids who are college age. Was a wonderful weekend playing cards. Fishing and floating on the lake in the pontoon. Jeff and Lindsay are awesome hosts.”

“This was our second stay at The Cabin. Everything is as shown in the listing. Actually, the patio chairs are now Adirondack type. The owners are accommodating and make the rental process easy. There was a strong winter storm during our visit, but we still made use of the patio and fire pit after some shoveling. We look forward to coming back again when the lake is not frozen and we can use the pontoon and screened back porch.”

“We loved our stay on Kimball Lake; we spent a lot of time on the shoreline with my grandchildren enjoying the sand and water. We adults took excursions out on the paddle boards, kayak and canoe. We even had a pirate birthday party with our five year old manning the flotilla from stern of the canoe. Plenty of life jackets in stock. The house is very comfortable, well stocked with everything one needs. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the sound of the loon so soothing. We watched a bald eagle……

“This cabin is exactly what we imagined from the description, but the experience was even better! We love the north woods and the cabin experience and this place was perfect - private and exactly what our family of 4 couples needed. Awesome wood fireplace and the pontoon was a huge perk!”

“There was 15 of us and we had such a great time for a bachelorette party weekend! Ample space, great kitchen, beautiful lake views, bonfire pit, and plenty of space for sleeping !! Loved it! Wouldn’t change a thing !”

“Communication was excellent with owner. The pool was alot of fun. The house was very clean. 2 fridges were awesome. Lots of bathrooms! The reason i did not give it a 5 is the living room sits 6 with very uncomfortable furniture and the dining room sits 6 with higher chairs, not good for kids and many of the beds were very warped and old. The weekend we were there it snowed and snowed. Lovely but no one came to shovel us out so bring your own shovels (and chairs)”

“Our Christmas gift to our adult children, their spouses and new in-laws last year was the gift of spending time together. We rented the cabin Memorial Weekend and had 10 adults ranging from 21 to 85 yrs old. We also had 2 dogs. The cabin never felt crowded and had a really cozy feel. We spent most of our day playing yard games, fishing and cruising on the pontoon. The evenings consisted of large dinners and cocktails around the large fire pit. The owners were most welcoming and answered any……

“It was perfect, but only missing one thing... a boat / pontoon rental. The lake was so nice. The sunset was beautiful... would had loved to be out there. We will definitely return though because location was great and house was beautiful and big for our big family! Some minor issues with bathroom doors not closing or locking, but we made it work. It rained twice on us so the pool table & other games along with the many TVs provided kept us company inside. Had many memorkes at the bonfire too.……
