“We had such a wonderful stay here, particularly loving the stable room with its peace and quiet and enormous king bed. We arrived late and went for a walk around the Secret Garden at sunset which was completely magical .. followed by delicious food and cocktails in Harry’s Bar. I have to say the bar and serving staff were exceptional, friendly and smiling and welcoming, on a busy night they remained top class throughout. Highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break, it pressed our reset……

“Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die……

“Brilliant experience from check in to check out, all staff so professional. The room was perfect , clean , tidy , and spacious . The breakfast was fantastic and the grounds were perfectly maintained. Not a bad word to say. Just Thankyou to all staff !!! ”

“Near to oxford train station. Quiet neighbourhood. Room size quite small. Bathroom quite old school and showet mixer is inconvenient design. Free fruit, snack and bottle water is a bonus. No luggage room for luggage storage, though they claim thay have 24hr front desk.”
