“This is a really lovely and immaculately maintained property, and one that provides and excellent base for exploring the Lake District. It is very well equipped and comfortable, and also nice and quiet - just the tonic if on a break. We enjoyed cooking and relaxing and also exploring the local area, which was new to us. “The cottage and location were lovely. The private parking space was too small and very awkward to access. There was plenty of unrestricted parking in the road. The property was not adequately prepared between bookings. The cleaning did not deal with the overpowering smell of curry powder that lasted till we left.”

“Very helpful to have the use of this property for what I wanted to do in the area. It was very useful to have the off-street parking space; just note that if other people park on the opposing verge, then the turning space becomes very tight.”

“We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Children watched rabbits running around outside the lodge. Our grandparents flew over from Lithuania and they were left awestruck. Highly recommended Many Thanks😊”

“Lovely cottage, well-equipped. Wonderful position for walking straight from the cottage, and the valley with its birdsong and red squirrels is a joy. The track up to the cottage has some slightly challenging moments for a standard small car that’s low to the ground, but we managed fine. Overall, a magical cottage in a magical setting.”

“Very impressed with the barn suitability and comfortness. Kev was a fantastic host with local knowledge and was very helpful. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day of shopping and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a bbq. We would definately recommend Bellas Barn to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable time away.”
