“Wonderfully located -- close to everything but just far enough away to be calm and quiet. After exploring Stirling, we took the train for a day trip to Glasgow, just 45 mins away. Very easy and just a 10-15 min walk to the station. Beds were VERY comfortable, good closet space and dresser. The second bedroom has very low head clearance, not for the claustrophobic. Also, I must not have paid close enough attention to the listing and didn't realize the bathroom was not on the same level as the……

“There were 4 golfers, spouses and baby and all of our requests were met. Could not have been a better place for us. Everyone had their own bathroom and king bed. Kitchen was fully stocked and there were grocery stores nearby. We will recommend this place to anyone going to Scotland”

“Swilken View is the ideal property for a group on a golf holiday in Fife. To wake up every morning looking out over The Old Course is just incredible! There is no better location in St Andrews - walking distance to most everything. It appears the kitchen was recently remodeled with great appliances. While it could sleep 8, the 4 bedrooms allowed our foursome each a private room. The laundry room came in handy for mid-week washing. This place was so great that i would plan our next trip around……

“It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there. No hand towels were provided and there was 5 of us staying who all needed those for after washing our hair. Very bare minimum of things……

“Wonderful property for my wife and I - only forty mins from Edinburgh by train and easy to drive to Glencoe and the Lochs Superb accommodation exactly as described and everything worked as it should - even provided an hdmi cable in main tv to link to iPad which is a nice little touch. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend or stay again.”

“From the owner to the location, we couldn’t have asked for more. The house was well equipped and the owner went above and beyond to throw in some extras. He made our 3 year delay worth it. Fantastic pubs, within feet of property and downtown St. Andrews an easy 5 minute walk. Carrying the golf clubs to the first tee was about the best experience you can have as a golfer. Cheers!!”
