“We just love coming to this property. This time we came for a wedding at the old fire house next to the lake so talk about convenience. Came early to enjoy the outdoor, was able to get dressy for the wedding and go to and from only a short distance. Full amenities so we can bring our own food. The owners leave firewood to use and on day 2 the dog and rain rolled in so we used it all! With another night in front of us, and to our surprise, the owners refilled our wood discreetly and messaged us……

“Efficient and comfortable property perfect for senior family get together and visiting in a beautiful spot. Ample apple pie in Julian a plus! Attentive property manager and terrific house cleaner assured quick recovery from unexpected issues.”

“The property is as listed. More than enough room for a family of 5 with three smaller kids. Outdoor space is private and includes a fire pit. The kitchen has all the things you'd need to make meals in the cabin and there is a outdoor grill which we did not use. It's a block away from all of downtown Julian and very close to several solid country parks. We spent the majority of our time in Anza-Borrego State Park which is less than an hour away. There is a ton to do outside in this area The……

“Cozy, romantic, clean”

“We wanted to do a little unique overnight stay someplace not too far from home, and boy we had a great time here!! Katy’s gram was fabulous. They were so friendly showed us around her farm and our 9yo had the best time made buddies with the donkeys.. Definitely recommend!”

“We both enjoyed the Treehouse inside and out. The views were magnificent. Weather was great. It was neat to see the fog come down and sweep past us during the storm the last night there! It’s so quiet and peaceful. Everyone in town was marvelous and the town restaurants were delicious too! Our favorite part…the 91 steps up and down! LOL You do get used to them and keeps your weight down! Oh and also the enormous pine cones! We don’t have them that size here in Delaware! We would definitely stay……

“This property was great for our family gathering to celebrate our father's 90th birthday. The location was perfect to easily get to the town of Julian & many hiking trails. The house was beautiful and full of fun decorations. It was more than large enough to accommodate us for family dinners inside and out. The view is awesome and the neighborhood is nice and quiet!”

When I had any questions, Aubrey responded right away. I also wanted to say how appreciative I was when Brad came to the cabin to help us get our car out of the snow. Thank you so much, we couldn't have done it without your help.”

“The beds were comfortable. We loved the coziness and warmth of the fireplace. The stained glass windows are so pretty and the views are gorgeous. The cleaning crew could do a better job. There was a pull-out cutting board that hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival and water was pooled at the bottom of the fridge with pieces of food floating in it. We stayed for one week and there was only 1 roll of paper towels provided, 1 additional roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extra trash……

“ Flicking the light switches by the door didn't turn on the light. We arrived after dark and had to use a flashlight to see where the next light switch was. There were no instructions how to re-lock the electronic lock, and we ended up leaving the door unlocked all weekend. Otherwise, it was a nice, quiet, peaceful weekend, and everything went well.”
