"I brought 14 middle and high school students from Colorado on a week long trip to visit pittsburgh. The Clement was clean and comfortable for us, and had almost everything we needed. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and safe. Phillip and his Assistant were very personable and helpful, and checked in with us regularly. "Great hotel in a lovely lovation. Easily accessible by public transit, a short walk away from restaurants. Located in pedastrian-friendly area with 15-20min walk to the river. Our room also had a nice view of the downtown and the river."

"I called down to the front desk to ask if there was a good Italian restaurant within walking distance. She took a few minutes to answer, then said she didn’t really know any except for like two pizza places. Then I asked if there were any nicer restaurants, like for a date night. Then she said she wasn’t really familiar with the area, so she had no idea. She said she would call back after she asked around, but she never did. "
