“Kathy was absolutely delightful, making us feel so welcomed! It’s a great area to stay in, easy to walk to the shops/restaurants in Ocean Grove, the beach and a short walk to Asbury Park. It was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful courtyard area of the Inn. And we had to leave early for an event and didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. Wonderful place to stay and we look forward to going back!”

“Very cute B&B. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was up on the top 3 rd floor. Slanted ceilings, easy to bump you head. We had 2 queen beds. No way could 2 people sleep in a bed; the inside person would bump their head when they sat up. Had to climb over a high tub to get in, and use a spray hose to was up. Lots of towels, soaps, lotions provided. ”

“The Spring Lake Inn is a historic property, attractive & well maintained, close to the beach. Nice continental breakfast. Staff was helpful. It would have been nice if they had a list of good recommended restaurants in the area, with contact information. We got info from Google & Trip Advisor, but we prefer local knowledge. The WiFi on our floor(2nd) was very spotty. I could not maintain a connection in our bedroom, with my laptop. When I went downstairs to the little living……

“The inn was light bright and airy, however before warned about the third floor steps. They can be taxing. The best rooms are on the second floor with access to the wraparound porch. The included breakfast was lovely every morning. Surprised the Inn was on route 35. So had to cross to get to beach.”

“Overall ok. Nice staff. Clean. Small cramped room. Loud RR tracks nearby. You hear every creek in the house. Wall AC unit that gets warm. Decent breakfast. Nice front porch and lake in the back. Good parking. Not too many options that close to beach. I would stay again, but manage your expectations. ”

“We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is a small cottage - one bedroom, combined living room/kitchen area and one bathroom but it had all the essentials for a quick girls weekend. A little cramped with two adults and two kids, but it was expected and met our expectations. Everything was clean, location to the beach was great and the two complimentary beach tags were a nice touch. Owner was responsive and helpful.”

“Donna was great to work with in renting her property for the week. House was perfect for our size family. Beautiful back yard with a huge pool was a perfect ending after being at the beach for the day. We would definitely stay here again!”
