“We had a little taste of Paradise while living at Villa Cascada. If you love nature, it is the place to stay. We woke up almost every morning to the sounds of the howler monkeys, we even saw them in a nearby tree. You are surrounded by the jungle and all its sounds and aromas. We saw lots of toucans, butterflies, birds, bats, coatis. The views are amazing. The road to the villa was scary the first time, but David waited for us on the main road and led us to the villa. You definitely need a 4x4,……

“Villa Paraiso is a beautiful well appointed home. The view is absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a place to relax and and enjoy everything this part of Costa Rica has to offer you won't find anything better. The Owners were great hosts and stayed in close contact throughout our stay. The drive up to the house from the highway is an easy one with the first portion of the road freshly paved.”

“The property is wild and wonderful! They are really not joking about the trek to get in there, but that is part of why it's so great once you are there. That road is something, and then parking is a bit from the tree house. We saw all kinds of wildlife and enjoyed both sunny and stormy weather. It had an immersion feel for sure. “We thought the house and property were great - we'd absolutely stay again. It was perfect for our family which included my husband, myself and our two year old daughter. Our only complaint is the communication style and responsiveness of the property manager (who isn't the owner). We asked for some cleaning help to be arranged -she said she'd coordinate it and that we would be paying a local rate (and one that was a bit higher than normal, especially for that area, but fine).
