“Small cottage off the road, down long private drive with steps to the river. I was looking for absolute solitude surrounded by beauty and it was exactly what I received. At dusk there was a group of deer feeding in the field. I saw woodpeckers and so many other bird species. I took day trips for hiking and returned to a peaceful retreat.”

“We enjoyed this property very much. It is well stocked with towels, kitchen utensils, a hair dryer, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry soap. The ice maker, dish washer and laundry all worked well. Hot tub was very clean and warm. The location can't be beat in Port Orford. We walked most anywhere we needed to go. The grocery store is a short drive. This is a well laid out house. If you want to go to bed early, the master bedroom is far enough away from the living room to cut down……

“The inside and back yard were great, only wish the backyard was fully fenced so my dog couldn't escape. The retro features inside were super cute. I play the fiddle so I noticed and loved the fun fiddle decor. The place was clean and furniture comfortable. I appreciated the books about local hikes, flora and fauna. The location to town, Redfish Restaurant and Battle Rock Beach were stellar.”

“We had the most amazing trip to the southern coast of Oregon. Gary was a wonderful host and we loved staying at his beautiful home - absolutely spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. Port Orford is an unspoiled gem. Easy access to beautiful beaches, hiking, golf and other adventures. We loved the Rogue River jet boat tour. Highly recommend this stunning VRBO.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Bandon cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked and spacious. We utilized the wood stove as the weather was cool and rainy. Beds were comfortable. Overall just a great cozy cabin. We walked the Lost Lake trail several times. Easy drive to Bandon and other places we visited in the area. Bandon is a great little town. We would definitely stay at Bandon cabin again.”

“View of ocean, beach and mountains, all just 2 minutes away by car. House was very nice. Would like better quality chairs for eating at table and bar but leather overstuffed chair and couch wete very comfy, so was the bed. Loved the jacuzzi too.. Amazing views out every window.”

“The location of the property is awesome. It's on the river and right down the street from the hatchery which is a popular drop in spot for fishing on the Elk River. Kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking tools and utensils you need. Great place to stay.”

“Very cute little cottage part way up a hill with a fantastic view of the bay from either the balcony or just propped up on pillows while laying in bed. A public access beach is two short blocks away. Beach is very dog friendly and not crowded at all. The town is very sleepy but there are a few good places to eat. The crazy Norwegian serves really good fish and chips, and the Redfish restaurant has excellent food and a great view. Make sure to get reservations though.”

“Had a delightful weekend, and would highly recommend to anyone. This home is going in my places to repeat! The lighting system was a bit challenging and would've appreciated a cheat sheet. That was the only issue we had.”

“A group of family members from three states stayed at Battle Rock for the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was perfect, the house was perfect, and the weather was perfect. The setup of the house was ideal for our group, beds and chairs were all very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well suited for multiple big meals being cooked by multiple people at the same time. Being right by the beach was great, and the king tides made it even more spectacular. Great tidepool creatures through the……
