“Lovely rooms. Beds are kinda hard. Thin walls Will be lovely in summer Great bathroom and kitchen. ”

“Our 5 year old twin boys LOVED the trampoline and play structure that was right behind our unit. The chalet had everything we needed. Some of the furniture/carpet could use an upgrade. ”

“Close to visitor center (where the bus stopped). Owner is nice and proactive contact guest b4 arrival. No breakfast provided (which seems to be the norm for NZ hostel) but u can find food nearby. ”

“Beautiful modern lodge with gracious hosts. The property has a lot of indoor and outdoor public areas to relax with a glass of wine and book in hand. Rebecca and Jason are attentive, anticipating their clients needs, and are at the ready to make great dining and sightseeing recommendations. The private cedar hot tubs room side are to die for. Highly recommended.”

“This was my second stay and it was perfect, we did the Tongariro crossing and the homes location to national park and surrounding walks and activities makes it the perfect option if you want something cheap. For the price it’s what you expect. It’s no luxury hotel but it has more then enough for what you pay for”

“Loved staying here and waking up to that view. The horse was cute. Being pet friendly was a giant bonus and my dogs loved running around the property. Owner is super lovely. I read some people saying they had no reception but if youre with Spark the reception is excellent.”

“Tidy house and yard, everything you need for a cozy stay. Not many places you can take your dogs away on holiday, this house was perfect plenty of room for the dog crates in the lounge with out them getting in the way. Fully fenced section stunning deck. Very handy for nearby walks and easy trip to Taupo for a day of adventure. Will hopefully be back for another stay soon.”
