“House is just south of Riggins, on the river. Very clean, very nice stay, great hosts. Liked everything about the house. Did not like that it’s within feet of a busy highway and across the road from a rock crushing outfit. It’s not quiet-ever. There is a privacy fence across the front separating the house from the highway, but no gate. Pets need to be on a leash or very well trained because the traffic is busy and fast. “We’ve been to the Casita before and when returning to Riggins for our fishing trips, we look for availability at the Casita. A cozy place to end the day, always very clean, close to town and communication is great with the host!!”

“Over all we enjoyed our stay and hope to return. My husband and I were visiting my family that lives in Riggins. This place was super convenient for us because it was only 4 minutes away from my Dads house. One thing to note is a slight privacy issue. The slats on both the bathroom doors are extremely large gaps so you can see right into the bathroom from the living room and the bedroom. From the bathroom you can see right into the bedroom. Also keep in mind there is a second rental property……

“We have stayed at this delightful property several times in the past. We use this as our base for hiking and fishing and watching the local wildlife. From the covered porch you can watch deer, elk, quail, doves, coyotes and several different colorful songbirds. The river always has whitewater rafters floating down or Jet boats going up & down. This property has everything you need for a great stay.”

“French Creek Inn was a most pleasant stay. With the Salmon River across the road and French Creek to our side, it was relaxing and comfortable. The owners were A+ in all details, and comfort. I have been coming to the Salmon River for 35 years plus to camp. gold prospecting, hiking, hunting, river raft, jet boat and as always when leaving I need to come back. The cabin had all the necessities. very peaceful. Will hopefully re-schedule another visit to French Creek Inn in 2024 for at least 1-2……

“The cabin is located in the heart of Riggins. It's easy to walk across the street to the market, or down a couple doors for food and drink. It's been recently remodeled and nicely done. We were impressed with the updates. There's a cute little court yard in the middle and parking was easy. We came to visit friends and would rent again.”
