“Was actually on the campus of Dayton University. Large complex with huge, beautiful rooms. I had been on the road for almost 9 hours, and when I saw they had a restaurant, it was the best thing st the time. The food at the restaurant was truly excellent!”

“I think this hotel is a very nice value for the price you pay. Very clean and a nice room. Breakfast was great and the staff exceptional. Hot tub got hot my first night but not the second night (this may be due to the flood to come). On my second night after I left the pool area and went back to my room at 10:30 p.m. some guy barricaded himself in his room on the 3rd floor and proceeded to flood the whole hotel. We had to evacuate. Fire dept shut the hotel down and turned off power to it. ……

“This is a very nice hotel! Darnell ans staff helped to make our stay pleasant and relaxing. A great bed and exceptional dining were just some of the things that made our memorable. This will be our hotel for any visit to the Gem City going forward.”

“Everything was great except for the floor of the shower. It needed to be replaced. It was not dirty, just very worn and showing it's age. Everything else was fine. Possibly there have been renovations to the rest of the room, but the shower floor was missed.”

“The employees were very nice and professional. Our room was fine and overall, this hotel met our needs for our daughter’s graduation weekend. Some issues: My son was in room 219 that had broken shades, burned out lightbulbs and a dirty tub. It overlooked the roof. The breakfast situation is strange. They have what looks like a free buffet like every other hotel but if you grab a piece of toast you’ll be charged $10. The full breakfast which is basically the same as every other hotels free……

“Overall the property was good. It does lack some common amenities such as room coffee maker, dish towels and soap. There is also no ice machines on the property so you have to plan ahead and make your own ice in the freezer. Bathroom amenities could be more generous. Only had a small bottle of shampoo. I'm sure we could have gone down to the front desk and ask but those things should just be provided. Overall, room was very clean and beds were okay.”
