“I had been looking at rental cabins near the Royal Gorge for Memorial Day weekend and was about to book a place closer to Cañon City when this place showed up online. The pictures looked good and the location was very close to the main road toRoyal Gorge where other family members were staying. Four of us stayed in the cabin which was exceptionally clean and well appointed (it does not have a television as listed in the amenities, but the internet worked well (surprising given its location)……

“Seems like a well kept refuge, was out there during a hot period of time which was challenging. But there was no expectation of air conditioned provisions. It was good to see the stars again. Learned a bit about power consumption.”

“We had a great stay. Excellent location for fishing Arkansas River and we did day trips to Monarch and San Dunes. Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends. Great communication from owner and property management company.”

“Very enjoyable experience! Of course, there was the mild inconvenience of having to hike a short distance to the bathroom facilities. Also, it would be helpful to provide guests with easy-to-read instructions (perhaps a hard copy print inside yurt) on how to operate the fire pit. Otherwise, highly recommended.”

“This home is in the perfect location for all the locations we wanted to see. It was decorated in Christmad magic. Making my grandchildren delighted Santa would find them for sure. Ray was extremly quick to answer any questions. The home itself was much bigger than it looks. Plenty of rooms and bedding for our family of 8. The surrounding outside area was fantasic. We never got to enjoy the game room but it has something for everyone. We would love to return during the summer months to take……

“I loved the sunrise/sunset views at this cabin. My husband and I sat out on a near by bench to watch the sunset and I was swoon! The mountains looked incredible. Our kids were able to sled and hike around the area. We also enjoyed the space. Plenty of room and very clean!”
