“I very much enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was clean, comfortable & close to the Shawnee National Forest & the Wine Trail. The bed & furniture were comfortable. The kitchenette allowed me to have all meals in, as it has a half-refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffeemaker, plates, glasses & mugs. “In Marion for a family wedding. Perfect place for all of us (adult children and teenage grandchildren and pre-teen great grandchildren). Dramatic great room overlooking 5th tee. Got to review the golfers as an added benefit. Looks like a good spot for a getaway golf weekend.”

“I really enjoyed my stay. I came to spend some time with my daughter who goes to SIU. It was nice, quiet, and had the great charm. It is a cabin so it is rustic but that was the charm of the cabin. The bed was great, we were able to cook and relax like the comforts of home. The wifi had an issue and needed to be reset and the host was very prompt on fixing the issue. He was available! I will definitely stay here again when I visit my daughter!”

“We came down to visit friends and the cabins were great to come back to each night . The cabins are close to town but far enough away . I enjoyed a peaceful sit on the deck and a nice walk . The management responds quickly to any question and it was really easy to check in and out. I will say if you are shorter person like myself bring a stool the bed is kinda high.”

“The home is an older home which appears to have been built in stages. The floors are quite creaky and the age shows throughout. The worst issue for us was the noise of the street out front. We had expected less traffic in such a small town, although the owner made no such claim. The beds were excellent and there was plenty of hot water. The furniture is in good shape. In view of the price we felt it was a good value.”

I stayed here with my mom, aunt, and my 1.5 year old daughter and we had the best time! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The cabin is well-equipped so you have everything you need to relax and unwind. There is also an adorable farm next to the property. We would absolutely return here!”
