“Love the views and outdoor facilities ”

“It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is adequate....they no longer have a waffle maker or scrambled eggs. The swimming pool is nice, but disappointed they no longer have a hot tub.”

“Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. Although the staff is off site they are super friendly, honest and pretty knowledgeable about the area which is great for first time visitors. The property was super clean and offers an amazing view of the Mississippi River and the lock and damn. My only bummer was the property is not in……

“Dan and Annie are a great couple to work with. The property that we stayed in was the cabin. It is clean and well stocked. The property sits right on the Mississippi so one can enjoy the scenery, barges going up and down and all over river traffic. You wont be disappointed in choosing to stay here. Bellevue itself is a very friendly town within walking distance to shops,bars and restaurants.”

“Quick response to our question when we got there. Quiet and peaceful, I never heard the barges go by. Easy to find. Short drive to town for groceries and to Maquoketa Cave State Park. Daughters thought their beds upstairs were a little hard (personal preference), but the one downstairs was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Best set of skillets I have seen in a rental.”

“We came in for a girls weekend getaway. Lori and Terry’s house was perfect for our stay! So cute and comfortable! It had everything we needed including the perfect location for a trip to the area state parks as well as some fun shopping in Dubuque. Both Terry and Lori were very accommodating and quickly responded to any questions we had. Highly recommend - we plan to come again!”

“Ensure you have AWD or 4WD and good tires. It’s a 10 miles drive on a very muddy/gravel, low maintained road with lots of holes. There were several times my van almost got stuck and I was sliding all over the road. The tree and water fountain were very cute but there were 2 dead mice around the bottom of the tree, inside the cabin. The road/driveway outside of the cabin was pure mud deep mud. Would have appreciated a warning about the drive out to the cabin. Thankfully I got there early cuz I……

“This was one of the best vacations I ever have had. Everyone was so concerned that I was ok and enjoying myself. The Minnow became "my houseboat" as it was so well decorated and homey. I even discovered my soul sister there. I definitely will return, to relax, destress, kayak and see all of my Island City friends.”
