“Room had refrigerator and microwave. Bed was clean and comfortable. For the price range this is a good deal. The room in the 50 to 60 dollar price range is hard to beat. Most all california motels are more expensive. Recommend this for a budget minded solo traveler. Just be safe with the neighborhood. It is a bad neighborhood full of drugs and homelessness. ”

“It seems like the idea of this place would cool but it was not. I get it, it’s an old hotel no big deal, but the room was nothing like what was advertised the rug smelled old, there’s was no art just the creepiest wallpaper I had ever seen covering major cracks on the wall. We didn’t even stay there my wife took one look at the room and went ballistic what a horrible experience and a waste of money.”

“Spacious 3 bedroom. Great place for a family stay just outside SF. Michael was very attentive and went out of his way to help us reclaim luggage our 3 year old accidentally left behind. Pleased with our overall VRBO experience in Daly City.”

“Wonderful property. The directions from the host were really helpful. The bed was so comfortable, we're going to buy a new mattress! Lovely and quiet. Lots of birds. We inconvenienced the owner by not knowing our check out date, which she was gracious about. Then my husband lost his wallet, and Beth looked for us. Great host!”

“After a grueling day of travel, we opened the door to this beautiful hideaway! There was gentle mood music playing that immediately soothed our stressed nerves, and a special treat left for us from the hosts. The bed is extremely comfy-it was tough getting up every morning, and the location was just what we were looking for to get to our destinations each day! We had a wonderful week here and look forward to the possibilities for the future! Thank you so much Eugene and Natalie for allowing us……

“Situated in an area where one would expect to pay more, within walking distance to Chinatown and Union Square. A few, minor improvements are needed: poor heating, blinds don’t block enough sunlight, sleeper sofa is extremely small, and both the sofa and bed could be more comfortable. Biggest downfall are no hot water (tepid at best), loud outdoor traffic. On the plus side, management replies quickly and rooms are clean”

“I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The property was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully organized. The host was excellent, always prompt and helpful with communication. The neighborhood was fun to explore, with the convenience of having a grocery store and great cafes just a short stroll away. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area.”

“Secluded, quaint upstairs unit. Plenty of shops and walking trails in area. Businesses do close early though. Bed was somewhat too firm but ample linens/comforters. Bathroom is tiny. There is no large clawfoot tub out back but large table /chairs in secluded area was fun happy hour spot.”

“As much as I hate leaving a negative review, I feel I have to. The listing makes the rooms look clean, but they’re disgusting and ours had a window leading to a ledge right outside the window that anyone could have come onto and broken in. No hot water, even after running it for five minutes. No Wi-Fi. Rude manager.”

“We love that the room was clean and surprisingly there was not a lot of noise so we were able to sleep deep. They gave us a key to enter the building which was helpful. It was convenient for us because we were able to walk to get breakfast at different places. There is no parking available but overall we love staying here. I love that there was free coffee.”

“The place was nice and clean. I was expecting my security deposit back and I did not receive it cause I was charged for some towels and bed sheet that was stained $225 dollars not fair! Even tho we fixed the broken handle on the stove and our door went bad since the fridge didn't keep our food cold enough. I did not want to complain cause I really they wasn't gonna play me with my deposit but that was very unfair all of that comes off in the wash I'm sure ”

“Our modern, one-bedroom home was terrifically thought out, comfortable and well located for our 10 day stay. Fully equipped and very clean. We even managed an over-night by our granddaughters (8 & 5). Small yard allowed our dog to stretch and for us to take in the sun. Dedicated parking removed that hassle. Quiet neighborhood close to stores and convenient to Sausalito to Mill Valley. We'll be happy to return.”
