“We loved the Paradis Peak villa! Steve and Nancy were wonderful hosts and gave several suggestions on activities available in their area. Loved our visits with the Rottie girls as well, they were a real treat. I would recommend contacting host for better directions than google maps. Roads can be a bit challenging. And did i mention the bird watching! Awesome!!!”

“Most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. View is breathtaking. Exactly what we were hoping for, jungle stay out of the city. Drive is as others describe, very steep and rough. You need four wheel drive. We got the chef service with Rambo and made the stay so much easier as the grocery store is not super close. Would stay again. We had 4 adults and 4 kids with plenty of room. all were amazed with the place.”

“Wir, eine Familie mit 4 erwachsenen Kindern und Schwiegerkindern haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa von Anfang bis Ende sehr genossen. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind atemberaubend und das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Täglich kamen uns Tukane, Papageien, Greifvögel und Nasenbären besuchen - einmal sogar eine ganze Bande von Kapuzineräffchen und ein junger Weißwedelhirsch. Der wunderschöne weitläufige Matapalo-Strand, wo wir uns gerne Surfbretter ausgeliehen……

Sleeping next to the river and waking up to nature sounds feels like a movie. The house is well equipped with anything you might need. The design and coziness of the place is undeniable. “Absolutely loved this property! We only used the main house, not the extra cabina, but the pool, the house, and the rooms were all lovely. Just as in the pictures. There is nothing better than looking at the sunset from the pool and eating out on the deck. LOVED the wood work too. Well decorated and comfortable. The loft had two beds, other two rooms had one bed each. Comfortable beds. Very clean and well kept. Loved the outdoor feel of the bathrooms. Kitchen is well stocked for utensils,……

“As soon as you arrive at the house you feel the calm and nature close to you. The house was lovely. Furniture looked new, all was very clean, and looked very modern and comfy. The pool was delicious, with a great size, and all the backyard was perfect to spend the night chilling and talking. We had a great experience, and owners were very friendly and easygoing.”

“I cannot express how amazing our stay was and our host, Gelena! The directions getting there are very accurate. Gelena makes sure you have the proper vehicle (4x4) before hand, check in/out is very easy! The property itself is completely breathtaking, you will see local animals in the trees (toucans, white faced monkeys, and more)! She has everything you need to stay for a vacation, including a full kitchen which we definitely enjoyed! Very clean as well, the woodworking in her home is……

“Neither pictures nor words can fully describe how amazing Casa Montana is. From the spacious rooms and wide-opening doors to the stunning outdoors, the house has everything we could have ever needed. The views from every room overlooking the water and mountains were stunning. We loved waking up to the sunrise and watching the parrots and toucans flying around. One of the best parts was Alex, who helped set up amazing excursions for our group from guided tours to private chef cooked meals. The……

“There were 11 of us. We loved the house and Rambo our concierge and chef. Rambo knew everything about the area including contacts with the different excursions near VDF. Without him, we would have struggled to know where to go, where to park if we had gotten our own van, etc. Whether we were out and about or stayed at the house, we loved every minute!”

“Amazing home nestled atop a mountain. Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean from all rooms! Definitely want a 4 wheel drive vehicle to make it up the steep drive but it's worth it. Close to restaurants in dominical and many attractions are within a 30 min - 45 min drive from the home.”

“MANY issues that need repair: 1. Ceiling in kitchen leaks 2. Ceiling in upstairs bedroom leaks on the bed 3. Sink in kitchen leaks constantly all over the kitchen floor 4. Upstairs bathroom shower is out of order 5. Stairs by pool broken to path for bathroom 6. Large hole in deck on front porch - horrible accident waiting to happen 7. We had to buy- since these necessary items were not provided: -paper towels -laundry detergent -trash bags -dish detergent -aluminum foil -plastic wrap -salt &……

“We had a great family vacation. My only complaint would be they were building a new home right next to the house we stayed in and so it was very loud noises even early in the morning. We still had a great time though.”
