“As soon as we checked in there was a massive roach on the wall, but that was the only one we saw in 5 days. They let us stay there til 4pm on check out. Nice pool. a group of tourist restaurants nearby. Real Mexican places are a bit further away. Beach is a 10 minute walk. La Comer Supermercado across the street. Great place.”

“We stayed three nights and had wifi for 6 hours. Had to use wifi at the rooftop pool. Lotsa communication back and forth to no avail. The water in the pool is not heated so my husband passed on the pool experience. I swim often in cool water and found it uncomfortable, sadly. Bed was comfy and the place was nice. ”

Quiet location except for one night. There is a private club next door & there was a party that blasted music until 6 am one night. Other than that it is quite peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“The property was perfect. Great space, a great location for a low-key decompress week. All of the amenities (if wanted) of a hotel. but none of the hotel crowds and rules (check-in, check-out, food types etc) The management team was amazingly responsive for all questions or needs. While at the same time making it feel like we were on our own in our own house. I cannot say enough positives for the team and the location. I want to return, if not to the specific house, then at least to another……

“We had a great 4 night stay at Casa Carlson. We have stayed at another property at this location and were familiar with it. Casa Carlson is a penthouse with a rooftop deck and splash pool, that was the only difference with the other property. Pablo greeted us like last time. He showed us the ropes. The property was clean and looks just like the pictures. The front door lock was the only tricky part and Pablo took care of it. We would definitely come back here.”

“Arrived at the property on a Saturday afternoon. My unit was on the 2nd floor. Found the door to the stairs locked, no code to open was given. The contact phone and email address didn’t answer. Ended up getting a hotel room in town for 2 nights. On Monday I reached the property manager office and received a code for the door to go upstairs. Got to the property and got upstairs to the keybox of my apartment. The code provided for the keybox turned out to be wrong and after contacting again got……

“The overall property and location were excellent and as advertised. However, being next to one of the main public beaches made for many loud and late nights. Not many food spots within walking distance except a breakfast dinner across the street which was really convenient and food/staff were great.”

“Had a great time relaxing at La Jolla. Worst part was the facility cutting off the water on one day for repairs. Perfect weather and condo. Would definitely visit again!”

“We absolutely loved everything about this property. I still miss having my morning cup of coffee poolside. The house had everything we needed, the house itself was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked great & the pool area was beautiful. The concierge was always helpful when we had a question. We spent a good bit of time at the pool, in the gym & playing on the pickleball courts at Palmilla Dunes. Having club access was such a nice bonus. We will definitely try to stay……
