This means a new fridge and also construction materials around the property (no fenced in yard for pets, plus empty bottles/gum wads, etc around construction area). “A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend.”

“My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was good, 20 mins or less to Saranac, about 30 or so mins to Lake Placid mirror lake. The house was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable, heating was more than adequate. The yard and lake access was fun. Snow was pretty much untouched and the kids loved sledding, playing with their trucks, walking on the frozen lake and trying to make their best snow angels. “The hotel definitely made the trip more enjoyable, my only suggestion is cleanliness, housekeeping can do a better job such as wipe off dust on all counters, floor board, they also do not vacuum, so I can see my hair accumulated on the floor at my 5-nights stay. ”
