“First let me say, we had a great time at this property. This is a small house in the city. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and play pickleball at the playground next store. It had three good size bedrooms, with super comfy beds. Only one real bathroom and shower, as the second bathroom was tiny and only had a toilet. But we managed to make it work, once we figured out how to get the hot water. I finally broke down on the second day and messaged the host, and he responded very……

The rental was in a very quiet part of town close to beach, parks, the bus stop was literally 2 houses down and there was a grocery store and drug store right across the street. It was very clean and had some very interesting artwork. Check in and out was a breeze. I will DEFINITELY rent this unit when I go back to San Francisco.”

“The apartment is very nice and clean with lots of storage and closet space. It is charming and unique. Although we didn’t spend any time in the outdoor area, it was nice to look at from the room. We easily got on the street parking across from the rental, which was a big plus. The surrounding blocks don’t offer much in the way of shops or restaurants or coffee places, but Uber is readily available.”

“The place was nice and clean. I was expecting my security deposit back and I did not receive it cause I was charged for some towels and bed sheet that was stained $225 dollars not fair! Even tho we fixed the broken handle on the stove and our door went bad since the fridge didn't keep our food cold enough. I did not want to complain cause I really they wasn't gonna play me with my deposit but that was very unfair all of that comes off in the wash I'm sure ”

“The instructions were to park in a special place designed for guests. A cart port. However as we pulled into the property, a lady had already parked there and plugged her car in and quickly ran into the house. The email told us to park in that place. We knocked in the door where the lady went but no response at all. Calling or contacting the host was a failure on multiple attempts. The sign on the door said to take our shoes off, but if you do, you will end up with pet hair on your socks or bare……

“Our stay at the Mushroom House was a highlight of our trip. The house is beautiful and unique. We discovered new facets throughout our time there, including the one-of-a-kind kitchen drawers and the bookcase door. David was friendly and responsive. We loved the view from the deck and the easy walk into town. We hope to return to Bolinas soon!”

“We came to San Francisco for a wedding and the whole family wanted to stay together rather than be split up in hotel rooms. This house was perfect! The updates are very nice and it was really clean. The only negative would be the kitchen was not very well stocked if you needed to cook a meal for a large group (as far as large utensils, serving dishes and pans) Other than that, it was great and we would definitely stay again. The host was very responsive, he sent the door code the day of, it was……
