“Without hyperbole, our stay here was like walking into a dream. The property is elegant in every detail and yet completely integrated with the setting. “This is a beautiful property, with lovely comfortable rooms. Elmira is a gracious and thoughtful host. We had to leave early for a tour, before the breakfast hours, and she made sure we had plenty to eat before we left. I couldn't give 5 stars for area around the property, as there was construction happening in the backyard, but it's not a criticism. We enjoyed our stay very much!”

“This is a great place located around a mile or so from Strontian, off the beaten track. I had the twin (bunk bed) room in the bunkhouse next to the kitchen. Room was clean, tidy with a separate toilet, shower, sink. The TV and Freesat did not work (no channels) but frankly that didn’t matter as the weekend was about getting away from the Rat Race. Bed was small (but I big), but comfortable. The sound of a babbling brook, the smell of wood smoke and stars in the dark sky at night was enough……

“Amazing little property,communication fantastic! I stayed here the night prior to my wedding. On arrival,i was welcomed with a lovey card wishing me well for my wedding day and a lovely box of chocolates. The room which is open planned had a double bed which was very comfortable. The shower was fab and powerful. And shampoo and body wash was provided. We were surprised to see all the highland cows in the morning, which was lovely..over all i would definately return . ”

“Lodges were very clean and cosy. Staff were attentive and hot tub was great. There are good restaurants and attractions within 5 - 15 mins drive away. We enjoyed our stay, would say a weekend or 2-3 night stay is ideal.”

“De lodge was schoon, netjes en alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijne vakantie is aanwezig. De omgeving is wat saai maar als je op pad gaat is het een prima uitvalsbasis. Het enige grote minpunt waren de eenpersoonsbedden. De matrassen zijn/waren echt te slecht om behoorlijk op te kunnen slapen. Die van het 2 persoonsbed is prime. Het contact met de eigenaar was heel goed en hij heeft de feedback ter harte genomen en zou er naar gaan kijken. ”
