“Room was very spacious and clean, and very quiet. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Good coffee in room. Only issue was no computer to print boarding passes. Had to download an app, save boarding pass to phone and print, could only print screen with QR code. Summary, not convenient...wish they had a computer like all other hotels to print boarding passes.”

“The owner was so kind and helpful. We came into town for my father's funeral. He got us in a couple of hours early so we could get to the wake early. He was quick to respond and everything he stated in his listing was accurate. It is an older home that was completely renovated. It is clean and simple. The only thing missing (in my opinion) is a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. And, the contractor neglected to measure properly, as you cannot open the oven all the way without kitting the……

“We stayed at this house in Avon Lake for 5 nights. It was great! House was super clean, very well provisioned and the host couldn't have been better - very responsive (but not intrusive). Beds were very comfortable. Tastefully decorated. About 30 minutes of easy driving to get to downtown Cleveland or the airport and it was in a super safe place. Felt very safe to sit out on the patio at all hours. We appreciated all the amenities provided (Forgot your toothbrush? Extras provided!). If we ever……

“Perfect stay! YOU GET THE ENTIRE TOP FLOOR OF THE HOUSE TO YOURSELF!! When I booked it, I thought I only had one bedroom of several. Actually I had 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, my own bathroom, all super clean and tidy. And I was only one person! Brian and his wife and lovely and welcoming, very interesting to chat with. Super quiet location, across the street from beautiful Lake Erie. Highly recommended!”

“The property was very clean. Which we have found to be lacking in some other places we have stayed in the area. The back yard having a privacy fence was a plus for us traveling with a dog so that he could have some freedom himself. The basement was finished and ready for either watching tv or playing one of the many boardgames provided is perfect for anyone with kids to teenagers. It's a short drive to restuarants, and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This property was advertised to be located in an area , which was 30 minutes away from the actual property. We walked in , there was a musty old smell . Rug was severely stained. Couch had stain circles on it . We immediately walked out and did t stay there . They refused to refund our money . The beds are shoved against the walls , so anyone trying to get out of bed in the night has to crawl over the other person . There’s also an apartment over the rental , which was not disclosed .”

“The house was perfect for us! We booked a long weekend for the eclipse as Lorain was in the path of totality. The house had enough space for everyone to enjoy and the outside was beautiful too. The house was clean and had everything we needed and if we needed anything Erie’s Market was across the street (excellent Indian food)! The neighborhood is quiet and we slept well. It was a great stay. Rob and Melissa were excellent hosts. We hope to be again soon.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was perfect for our trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. Conveniently located by I-90 & Avon shops & restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed, the wi-fi & TVs worked great & our dogs enjoyed the backyard. The morning of packing-up, we had a flat. The owner was very understanding & helpful. We will definitely stay again!”

“We stayed at the Coach House for a week while visiting our son at Oberlin College. Both my husband and I were able to work remotely as well with plenty of space to spread out. The house is a perfect size and we loved the location close to the beach/park and nearby restaurants and stores. We were even able to bring our dog with us for the trip. We have 3 more years of visits so we will probably be back. Patrick & Brooke were great hosts too and very communicative and helpful.”
