"This was our first VRBO rental and it was a great experience. The house was the right size for us four adults. It was clean, well-furnished and so very quiet. The air conditioning worked well. It was close to all the places we wanted to go to - Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, Harrisonburg, restaurants, wineries, and breweries. The owner communicated well and allowed us to charge our EV. A very positive experience."

"Thank you Asad and Erika, my fiance and I had an amazing few days on top of the beautiful mountains. The house was beautiful, very clean, fully stocked, and I enjoyed the adorable Bear theme through out the home, so many details! So inviting, warm and even had a beautiful piano. There was various games and activities in the home, not to mention about 15 minutes from downtown! Great location! We enjoyed the amazing views, and the peace! We even hired an amazing local photographer Joe Stein...

The bed and towels were clean and the kitchen was equipped well with a nice big fridge frezzer and working oven coffee machine water urn etc. The attention to detail of cleaning definitely could use improvement. The host was very good about communicating with us and the location is amazing."

"The house was large enough for our big group! We especially appreciated the open floor plan on the main floor and the outdoor gathering space. The grill was a great feature and the sun hits the deck most of the day. We enjoyed our long weekend and are glad we chose this house over hotel rooms for JMU graduation."

"Booked a one week stay around my birthday and had the most wonderful time at this house! Everything was exactly as advertised, and the views were magnificent from just about every window. Spent lots of time stargazing from the porch and hot tub and walking my dog around this lovely neighborhood. These incredible hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need, so much so that we cancelled many of our plans just to enjoy this property. Cannot wait to come back soon!!"

"It was surprising what the cabin did and did not have. It was better than most as far as cookware, kitchen supplies, shower supplies and so forth. It was under supplied in tea towels (for a week of cooking), electrical outlets near mirrors (to style one's hair - no outlet in the bathroom) and no dresser, closet or even a luggage rack in the smallest bedroom. Linens were nice. We enjoyed use of the deck grill, fire pit and hot tub and grilled and cooked daily. It is pet friendly but no gates are...

"My family had this house built when Massanutten first opened back in the early 70’s. Started the build in 1973 moved in 1974 and sold in 2004. It was a girls weekend to go to some of the wineries and breweries. The house has plenty of room for large groups and has a ping pong and pool tables. Great to be able to stay in the house once again and remember 30 years of wonderful memories my family had in the house. Would definitely recommend this house."

"Super close to the top of the ski lift, like it only took about 30 seconds to ride my bike from the lift to the driveway. Awesome kitchen. Chalet is a tad dated on decor but it adds some charm. Seems like an actual family’s vacation home and not some conglomerate rental company. Would definitely stay there again, the location is great and it would be a great space to share with a few friends snowboarding or riding mountain bikes for a weekend."

"Only real location at Bryse where I can find that is true ski in ski out. Saves a lot of time and hassle with taking gear to lift. You can simply jump right into the slope! Dolly is also a great communicator and answered anything I needed right away. Already booked for next year!"

"We had a fabulous time at Blackrock Manor to celebrate a 90th birthday. The house works well for an elderly person as no steps are required to enter the house and the primary bedroom is located on the main level. The house is very nice, beautifully decorated, nicely equipped but the real show stopper are the views from the huge rear decks! Absolutely stunning!"

"Our family had a restful, wonderful time in this chalet. It was comfortable, well-appointed and clean. There was plenty of parking for our 3 small SUVs & we could have squeezed in one more. We loved the wrap-around deck with gas grill, fire-pit, and tiki torches…made for great memories!"

"The owner communicated everything quickly and clearly. We had no problems but he responded to our questions almost immediately every time! Even left us a nice bottle of local wine! The location was close to Skyline Dr. which was what we were looking for, as we were there to hike. The home was comfortable and met all our needs. Thanks for letting us stay!"

"We stayed here for several nights in early August and loved the entire home. The check-in process went as described and everything was explained well internally, so we knew how to use lights, appliances, etc. without a lot of fuss. Our party was small, but we put all three floors of the home to good use. Weekend guests joined us and chose to sleep in the loft. They said the liked it. The bed, bathroom, and so on were comfortable and clean. Our party stayed on the main floor at night slept...

"This place was everything we could have wanted it to be. Me and my wife booked it to stay at for our wedding and it helped make it that much more magical. The house was perfect for kids and dogs and I would recommend to anyone. The host was responsive and amazingly helpful."
