“The host was fantastic and provided a magical Make-A-Wish experience for a Wish Child from West Virginia. We cannot thank the host enough for allowing us to rent this beautiful home and helping us make a wish come true in Erie!”

“It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. “We loved our time at this cozy cottage. It was clean and modern with lots of snuggly spots to enjoy the views of Lake Erie. It was the perfect location for exploring Chautauqua county’s many picturesque towns and villages, both along Lake Erie and into Lake Chautauqua.”

“Ethan's home on Lake Erie is amazing. The location was great. The views were awesome. The house is as pictured but better! Very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. They have thought of everything. “We have been coming to Lake Chautauqua for 20 years and this is the best home that we have rented . The house has a great dock for at least 2 boats. The house is nicely updated with all things necessary to make a great stay. The house is clean with plenty of room for a large family. The owners are very quick to respond to any problems that you might have. Our group has rented this home twice, and are looking forward to returning.”

“We were pleased with the unit and the location. The only drawback was the gazebo had rusted scaffolding stored around it that took away any thoughts of enjoying it in the evening. That’s why we only gave the online listing three stars instead of five.”

“We were a group of 8 friends celebrating our 80th birthdays and 60 years in nursing where we all met. This place was as it was pictured on the website. The views of the lake from every room and great sunsets. The air was on in the house when we arrived and the weather was very chilly. CalledJanelle and she immediately raised the temperature and made it very comfortable for us. We had so much fun playing games, visiting the state park and we even took a small trip to New York. We never turned on……

“Overall everything was fine”

“The house is listed as a mansion. It did not meet my impression of a mansion. It is beautif on the inside but needs some updates. The space for the kids and all the different areas was great. The grounds were under repair and there was no private outdoor space. We did not realize, but there was no bathtub. The property manager was wonderful.”

“We had a great stay. The location of the house was perfect for the little bit of sightseeing we got to do in between our music concerts. The size and layout of the place was perfect since at the time of booking I wasn't sure how many people we'd have. Everything we needed was there and the place was clean and easy to settle into. “We traveled to Erie for the funeral of a family member. The location was good and the accomodations met our needs overall. The lack of an ironing board was inconvenient. Had there been one we would not have had to bring all of our clothing to the home of another family member to iron. Also, it would have been helpful to have had a sink stopper in the kitchen sink.”

“Place is very nice, especially if the weather is good to enjoy the yard and deck. Internet didn't work, but was due to a big storm that rolled through. Would definitely go back and stay again.”

“House was cute, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed. I especially liked the fluffy towels. Only about 2.5 miles to the graduation and 15 minutes to Presque Isle for a picnic. Games and coloring things for kids. We didn’t use them but I bet families with kids love that extra. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Maybe again…”

“This hotel was the nicest one we have ever stayed at in the area. The room was above our expectations and the pool was divine! Nothing beats it for the price. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great ( ate myself sick on those waffles lol). My biggest complaint was we wished the tvs were a bit more modern in the room, at least a Roku fire stick so we could watch some YouTube on it. But that is likely just the gen z talking. Very nice and we will come again on our next vacation in the……
