"Staff went out of the way to resolve the issue of a cockroach in our room (they moved us to another room without hesitation). It’s well located, close to the castle and shopping, as well as being on a major boulevard with tram connections to Dogo Onsen and JR stations. Breakfast is average, but likely not in the hotel’s direct control (it’s in a separate property."
"Dogo Onsen Funaya Was a wonderful place to stay. Great staff at the hotel to assist you in any way. Excellent onsen on the grounds, which includes a sauna. Close to shopping, restaurants, and a public onsen. Our family had a great time!"
"Our 3-night stay at Jyoseikan was comfortable and pleasant. The staff was extremely polite and responsive to all our inquiries and requests. Our room was traditional Japanese style, a bit dated but well maintained. The breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of Japanese and Western style dishes, all very delicious. Would definitely recommend Jyoseikan to anyone and would stay here again on future trips."
"Great location, one of the closest hotels to Dogo Onsen. The staff are very friendly and professional, the onsite restaurant served a fusion ( French and Japanese) dinner and a buffet breakfast. We (a family with 1 adult daughter ) enjoyed the 2 night stay at this hotel, I highly recommend Chaharu !"
"We booked partially viewed room but somewhat we stayed a room with a view, overlooking the castle park. We stayed a different hotel in Takamatsu earlier of the trip and we felt that we should have stayed here instead. The service are excellent as all staff are trained well. The Superb breakfast! A good value for money indeed."
"The staff were helpful on check-in. Our room was quite OK and had a nice view of the castle but was, well how can you say it, very small. Anyway all good. "
"Great hotel. Lovely staff, polite, hard working. Convenient to everything including the castle and great food. Wish parking was simple like Osaka with turntable and self parking but this is just a wish. Parking was cheaper outside then at hotel was expecting parking to be included in price otherwise would have parked at lot right behind goe cheaper. Maybe I missed that when reserving hotel that there was a charge. "
"Hotel staffs are too cool to provide services as compared to the price. I feel that money were only spent on paying the seaview. There are so many choices on this price"
