“We were here to bike the Mesabi Trail and although Gilbert is a small range town, that is suffering as many small range towns are, we found it to be quiet and friendly. Both the Wandering Pines and the Whistling Bird restaurant are quite good and friendly. The owner of the Pines even gave us a good tip for a breakfast restaurant nearby. Beth does a great job with this property. It is clean, comfortable and spacious. There is also good offstreet parking. Beth is also easy to deal with and……

“I came to town for the HCYHA Bantam hockey tournament in late January and stayed at this two-bedroom apartment. It is both clean and well cared for. It is also nicely located on E. Howard street just off of 169 with easy access to downtown Hibbing. A super nice alternative to a hotel room.”
