“Loved the property. It was clean, quiet and well appointed. The ONLY suggestion would be to add pictures and description of the master bedroom/bathroom. If there are any mobility issues it could be a problem- it’s very unique and quite cute, but could be an issue for some. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!”

“We had a nice time up on the lake in between competing at VIR just a few minutes down the road. House was clean, large enough to fit our 8 team and crew, and provided us with some quiet time fishing off the dock. Host is very responsive to any issues/ requests.”

“We rented the Hyco Lake Gem for our family to gather for an early Christmas gathering. We had family come from out of state and were excited about the lake time and boat house space! The Gem really delivered! The house had everything we needed and nothing we did not. We spent hours on the dock and at the boat house fishing and making memories! It was a little hike down to the lake, but luckily we were all able bodied and able to enjoy it! It would have been difficult if our elderly parents had……

“First impression was to notch. Location was breathtaking. House was very clean (wife says it was one of the clematis houses we've stayed). Kitchen and the rooms were well- stocked with all necessities. The morning sunrise on the balcony was amazing. We were only there for a few days to attend our daughter's wedding at the Virginia International Raceway (only 14 minute drive!). We would've loved to stay longer to actually enjoy the lake but we were too busy in all the wedding preparations. Only……

“Great cabin with a tranquil feel!”

“This place is absolutely wonderful. The house has everything you need and more. Spent a lot of time on screened in porch especially when the afternoon storms rolled in. Peaceful section of the lake. Plenty of space and the beds slept great. This is truly a log cabin built with love. Rooms were spacious. I cannot say enough about this place. Very private location but close to civilization for unexpected supplies and the owners were so accommodating. We are looking at dates for our next……

“We had a great time. The dock was great to fish off of or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The air conditioning did a fantastic job and the place was very clean. There were plenty of towels available. The kitchen was very well equipped. Overall we enjoyed this house. If you are looking for a secluded, relaxing getaway, this is the place for you.”

“Only issue was ice machine on 1st floor was broken the whole stay but it wasn’t to hard to go upstairs and use the one there ”
