“The suite was clean and well equipped. The balcony had a wonderful ocean view.”

“From the moment I made the reservation, Anthony was available. But the details he shared basically answered any questions I had. We had flight interruption, putting us into MB a day and a half late. I kept in touch with Anthony and he attempted to keep my spirits lifted. We had an issue with one of the TV's (NCAAA Basketball going on, so it was needed). He did his best to troubleshoot and ended up replacing the TV the next day. Once our luggage finally caught up with us, we began what ended up……

“We had a wonderful time, this is our third stay with this host. He is very attentive and is happy to help in any way necessary. He is available to give us restaurant advice and for any household needs we might have. We refer people to him all the time and everyone has a wonderful stay. He is a great host and the property is in the perfect location.”

“Overall our stay was fine with a few issues. 1. Location is not the best, would look for other options closer to French Qtr. 2. Thin walls, could hear neighboring rooms. 3. Visible code compliance issues. Door to room did not have smoke gaskets, windows were inoperable could not have been used for emergency egress. 4. No thermostat in room, no control of room temperature. Will not return.”

“We just got back on Saturday from a week stay at the Surf Shack. We had a wonderful vacation and the Surf Shack was a great place to stay. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had and the neighbors on both sides were very friendly and offered great recommendations on restaurants. We enjoyed the porch and it was a great place for our dog to hang out since it was fenced in. We will definitely rent the Surf Shack again!!”

“Check in was simple and easy, parking is in a lot half a block across the street. Room interior was as described, balcony was tiny, barely enough room for 2 people. Kitchen was very small with almost no counter space. Stove and oven was tricky to figure out as all the markings on the knobs have worn off. Property was ok, small basic pools indoor and out. Good place for 2-3 people max. Access to the beach was good. Overall I'd give it a low 4 overall.”
