“We had a lovely stay in Opinan, near Gairloch. The house was clean, we had nice beds and we enjoyed the the bath. Extra's where the views over the bay, and the nearby beach. (water was a bit cold). a very nice place to stay. But specially for the first night, don't forget to bring your diner and breakfast, as the nearest shop is about a 20 minutes by car. We recommend a stay in this cottage on this special location.”

“The location of this property is perfect! It was fairly central to all we wanted to see on Skye. The view is great and it is a short hike to a beach which was a great was to spend the mornings. The lodge was cery comfortable and made us feel at home.”

“We absolutely loved our visit to this lovely cottage. There was nothing lacking in terms of our comfort. All of the amenities were in place and it was so easy to become comfortable very quickly. The sheep on the property were simply darling and it was so fun to watch the lambs play, jump and run (within their fenced area) over our meals from the dining room. “This property is exactly what we were looking for in a vacation retreat! We only had four of us staying in this large house but found it very warm and welcoming. The location is very remote and quiet, which suited our vacation plans perfectly! The home is outfitted exceptionally well and the kitchen has everything we needed. “Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”

“This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit.”

Great for small children with a cot and high chair available, even a stair gate at the top of stairs was very helpful! Everything clean and very comfortable for our 5 night stay.
